Why Uptime, Not Price, Now Decides Fleet Purchases
Warehouses running two and three shifts, electricity contracts that put every charging hour on the P&L, and the EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 — whose digital battery passport will cover industrial batteries above 2 kWh from 2027 — have changed the question buyers ask. It is no longer "what does a battery cost", but "how many hours will it deliver before it stops a truck". That answer comes from three places: the battery, the charger, and the small parts that hold them together.
1. PROLAKER Tubular Traction Batteries: Engineered for 1,500+ Cycles
PROLAKER is our own traction battery line, built for fleets that cannot afford a mid-shift failure. Thick tubular positive plates resist the corrosion and active-material shedding that end the life of flat-plate packs, delivering a rated cycle life of 1,500+ cycles with lower distilled-water consumption and stable capacity across years of daily deep discharge. Every pack is built to IEC 60254 and certified to CE, TLC, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

2. Application Range: Which Trucks Fit, and How They Pair Up
Battery boxes are dimensioned to the original footprints of Hawker, Heli, Komatsu, Linde and Xilin trucks, with screw-type M10 or flexible weld connections — a drop-in replacement, not a re-engineering project. In practice the PROLAKER range covers electric stackers, electric pallet trucks, reach trucks, 1–3.5 tonne counterbalance forklifts, tow tractors, AGVs and low-speed electric vehicles, including golf-cart and utility-cart packs.

3. Chargers: Where Energy Cost and Battery Life Meet
Two hot topics now dominate charger selection. First, energy: traditional 50 Hz ferro-resonant chargers lose a meaningful share of input energy as heat, while high-frequency units convert far more into stored capacity and cut the heat load pushed into the battery room. Second, multi-shift operation: fleets need opportunity charging that tops up during breaks without overcharging or gassing the battery.
Our mainstay is the CZB5C series intelligent charger — a three-phase unit that combines a leakage transformer, silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) and microcomputer control. It applies an optimised Wa+Pulse charging curve: current tapers as voltage rises, and pulse charging is applied before gassing begins and again in the final stage. The result is a cooler charge, less water loss, lower gas emissions and longer battery life, with high power factor and energy saving built in. The CZB5C is built across 24V/45A, 48V/65A, 48V/100A, 48V/120A and 80V/100A configurations.
For smaller and portable duties, the ESCH high-frequency range runs from 24V/25A units up to 48V/100A and 80V/60A models, with 93–97% efficiency, PFC/LLC control and wide 100–264V input on the portable versions.

4. Parts That Protect the Package: Frotek Watering and REMA Plugs
Uptime also lives in the small parts. We supply the Frotek automatic watering system (AWS-12/18/24/36/40-cell kits) so multi-shift sites can top up electrolyte quickly and safely, with auto-stop refill valves that prevent overfilling. Matching Frotek flexible connection cables in 35, 50 and 70 mm² with custom centre lengths keep resistance low and joints cool. At the charging interface we stock genuine REMA plugs — REMA80, REMA160 and REMA320, plus REMA DIN160 and DIN320 — alongside SC and EC series connectors, so a worn plug never becomes a stoppage. Everything ships in export-ready wooden cases.
